After a slightly off night (just mild depression, blah blah blah) and a wonky morning (Oh, God, do I really weigh that much now?), I got on Facebook to see what was happening in the world and received this amazing gift:

I am pretty sure I burst into tears.

I know Katie won't read this, as I'm pretty sure she no longer has her LJ and no longer follows mine, but I am grateful for the gesture beyond words. Even if no one gives one cent to it, I am so grateful to her for making a grand gesture, the kind that makes me feel awkward and strange b/c I don't function well with attention on me, because she reminded me of how much she loves me and how special she feels I am.

So thank you, Katie, for being thoughtful and filled with love and kindness and generosity, and thank you to anyone who randomly does/did give, because that's just silly and sweet and I don't really know what to do with that and I hope she keeps a list so I can write thank you notes, which I am notoriously terrible at doing.

I am vaguely considering switching to DW and leaving LJ. Problem is, I actually tend to prefer LJ in many ways, not the least of which is that Neil Gaiman and a few of my friends still only post there and not on here.
